I have seen belts added to almost everything — dresses, cardigans, tunics, shorts, and of course pants. But a picture is worth a thousand words. Check out this interesting photo I took at Nordstrom’s:

If you haven’t added a belt to your clothes this season, try it. This is a place to go bold with color, texture (see the studded belt in the picture), metallics, and width. If you don’t have much of a waist, try a belt in the same color as your top, or wear a belt underneath your jacket or cardigan (over the first layer) with the jacket or cardigan unbuttoned. This last trick gives the appearance of a waist.
